Cal State Fullerton team takes 2nd place in the NATA National
Quiz Bowl

After winning the FWATA Quiz Bowl for the first time in program history back in April, Cal State Fullerton MSAT students, Nicole Briseño, (MSAT 2025), Elias Rodriguez (MSAT 2025), and Breanna Yep, MS, ATC ('24) represented District 8 in the national Quiz Bowl at the NATA convention in New Orleans on June 26th. After an exciting competition, the Titans came in a close 2nd just behind the University of South Florida's team from District 9 and ahead of District 3's Shenandoah University.

Fun Fact: The program directors of the 3 top teams did their PhDs together. Their advisor  was none other than Cal State Fullerton alum and NATA Hall of Famer, Dr. Sandy Shultz ('84)!
