Prerequisites

The MSAT degree program requires one (1) semester course in the following areas:

  • Biology
  • Human Anatomy*
  • Human Physiology*
  • Chemistry
  • Physics
  • Psychology
  • Nutrition
  • Statistics
  • Medical Terminology
  • Exercise Physiology
  • Pathologies in Sport/Exercise (e.g., Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries)

*If combined into the same course (e.g., Human Anatomy & Physiology I, Human Anatomy & Physiology II), students must complete at least 6 semester units or a year-long quarter sequence.

 

Prerequisite Requirements

  • All prerequisite must have been completed within the past 7 years.
  • Students must complete all pre-requisite courses with a letter grade of “C” or better.
    • Note: A grade of C- does not meet the minimum grade requirement
    • Courses taken on a "Credit/No Credit" basis during Spring 2020 will be accepted.
