ADDITIONAL PROGRAM COSTS

Additional costs for all MSAT students include the following:

  • NATA Membership ($117/year)*
  • ATrack Subscription ($45/year)
  • Emergency Cardiac Care certification ($30)
  • Background check ($75, if required)**
  • Cal State Fullerton AT uniform apparel ($50/year)†
  • Travel (cost varies)‡

*MSAT students are also required to be NATA members throughout the entirety of the program. NATA membership comes with several professional benefits including eligibility for NATA and FWATA scholarships ($2,300 and $1,500 awards respectively), reduced BOC exam application fee ($25 savings), and access to the NATA Career Center.

**Some clinical sites may require background checks for MSAT students to be placed at the site. It is common for California high schools to require FBI/DOJ Live Scan background checks. These costs vary each year and any associated costs with obtaining a background check is the responsibility of the student.

† The program provides one uniform shirt per year but most students opt to purchase additional gear.

‡ Students must provide their own reliable transportation to their clinical site and occassional supplemental clinical experiences, which may be up to 30 miles away from campus on 3-6 days/week. Travel costs (gas and maintenance) during the program will vary depending on where they are assigned and the student's place of residence.
